This piece is a drawing with 3 different sized bottles. The purpose of this piece was to focus on how to properly use composition of drawing, incoorperate balance on the page with the cups being centered, and finally using space to not end up with any matrices in the final piece. I attempted to use shadows and shadings to give a more realistic feel. I set up the props like I did to give depth of the objects to the human eye. I also worked on the balance of shape with the bottles.

This piece is a one point perspective of a hallway. The purpose of this piece was to show how to give the illusion of depth in a piece. I used a reference photo to get a basic idea of the composition I wanted and then added as I pleased. I used a horizon line and specific point on the paper to allow all line to aim at to give the illusion. I used the six parts of light to give the illusion of pillars and floor tiles that were missing. If I could change one thing about this drawing I would use a more creative reference photo and change where my point would be placed. I think that if the hallway was set at an angle I would have been able to do more with the drawing.

This piece is called the line quality drawing. The main focus of this drawing was to show our ability to give the affect of depth in a drawing. By using different types of lines, the drawing is given different visual effects. We also had to incorporate our knowledge of composition and set our appear up in a correct format. If I were to attempt this piece again I would change the area that the vase to the left would be. I would also make that vase larger and more in scale to everything else.

This piece is a self portrait of myself. The purpose for this piece to show our capability of demonstrating our accuracy for drawing proportions from perspective. This piece also was to show the whole scale of values on a face. I feel like I did well on the scale in my eyes and my hair. I feel like I could have done better on the proportions on my face, especially the nose length.

This piece is a still-life drawing of items that I brought in. The purpose of this piece was to show how we can utilize and show a specific lights source. As well as this I set a composition that was horizontal because my items were all shorter and had minimum height. The composition also dealt with where the bases of my object were. I chose to lay my object in a triangular shape so that the viewer's eye could bounce around the paper and not focus on one sole item. If I could change one thing about this drawing I would make the objects larger and more zoomed in and create the left side of the glasses to be a more realistic shape. I feel that the shape that it is now is not correct for the way they were laying.

This piece a two point perspective of a dog in box with a hand reaching into it. The purpose of this piece was to show our capability of using two vanishing points on achieve a new type of perspective. The drawing also had include a body part of our choice to bring in another skill we have learned. I feel like I excelled on my value scale in this piece. However, I feel like I lacked the details I would have liked to have got in the dog's fur.
This piece is a realism drawing made using black and white charcoal pencils on grey paper. The purpose of this piece as to be able of properly scale a drawing from reference and be able to add values of great contrast. I am pleased with how the overall blending and eyelashes finished with the drawing. I have never been able to create realistic eyelashes so I feel these are some of the best I have done. However, I feel that I could have done better the overall shape of the eyeball and created better detail on it. All in all, I am very pleased how this drawing turned out.
